OUR MISSION
We are building and supporting a youth led organisation that brings a Different Noise to the crowd, to drive understanding and change on the things that matter to our lives, societies and world.

We know some voices are heard more than others and we want to change this. We will reach out to ALL young people. If it matters to you and you have ideas and views that can help build our team, our work, campaigns, consultancy and activities, we want you with us.

Different Noise can create the vision, projects, training and tools to make the changes that we are passionate about to help make a real difference to how we can live better and live well.
About
US
Different Noise is a movement of young people, aged 12-25, who want to raise awareness of issues that affect their lives, their communities, and the world; and identify solutions and act to change things for the better.
Do you ever ask yourself why things have to be the way they are? Do you chat with your friends about things you’d like to see change? Do you have ideas of how certain things could be improved? Maybe you’re not sure where to start. Or maybe you don’t think anyone will take any notice of what you have to say. Then join Different Noise.
Young people locally are concerned about many different issues. For example, not being able to easily access mental health services, plastic and other litter left on the beach and ending up in the sea, not feeling safe after dark. What things do you feel passionate about that you want to change?

At Different Noise we will help you to think about the ways you might want to tackle an issue and make a difference. We will help you turn your ideas into a plan of action. There might be other young people who think similarly to you and might also want to get involved. Or maybe you are a group of young people who would like some help from Different Noise.
If you need funds to make your idea happen, Different Noise can apply for a grant. If that’s
successful, we will support you and other young people involved, to turn your idea into action and strive to achieve the change you want to make happen.

Our
Funders
We received a Magic Little Grant through the partnership between Localgiving and Postcode Society Trust. Thank you to Localgiving for helping Different Noise with a Magic Little Grant toward our set-up costs, specifically our insurance cover.
We are grateful to have received a grassroots grant from the Worthing Community Chest toward the costs of setting up Different Noise. The grant enabled us to create this website, which was co-designed and built for us by young creative, Josh Tarzi.
